Dear Travel Friends
IS YOUR STATE DRIVERS LICENCE COMPLIANT WITH THE REAL ID ACT DEADLINE OF OCTOBER 1, 2020?
There is a lack of awareness and preparedness a year out from the REAL ID act going into full effect.
As of April 2019, seven states were still left to meet the requirements to be compliant with the REAL ID Act, namely: Oregon, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maine, and Rhode Island. California was under review and expected to be compliant by May 2019.
The rest of the U.S. states are all currently compliant and are issuing REAL IDs. As long as a traveler has a license issued with the REAL ID requirements (usually designated by a star in the upper portion of the ID), he or she will be able to travel domestically without a passport or another form of ID.

WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO BUY TRAVEL INSURANCE?
Should your next trip be for pleasure or business, travel insurance protection is a necessity.
- Should you be uninsured, the potential cost of lost luggage, trip cancellations, hotel problems, illness and accidents could not only ruin your trip, but also be financially devastating.
- There are many travel insurance options available, but how do you find which are best for you? For travel peace of mind, contact Travel Travel. We'll answer your questions, and explain available coverage.
- Make sure your cameras, laptop, iPod, other valuables and any high risk activities are covered on your trip.

MAKE YOUR TRAVELS MORE EXCITING AND ADVENTUROUS
How do you experience places at destinations not in your guidebook? Try this and spice up your next vacation:
- Find and ask local folk you meet to share their places of interest with you and experience hidden adventures.
- "Follow your nose" and just get lost. Ride any bus, train, ferry or walk and find amazing and interesting off the map places.
- Don't plan every day of your vacation. Give yourself enough free time to visit places suggested by other travelers or local folk.
- Make a point of eating at local restaurants, meet and speak to locals and learn about their cuisine, culture, history and places of interest.
