Thank you all again for many years of loyalty to Travel Travel.
The pandemic continues to have a devastating effect on the travel industry, travel in general, and travel agencies, including my company.
As predicted, by ASTA (American Society of Travel Advisers) members last August, about 73% of us nationally are now out of business!
New bookings have been few-and-far-between, and my efforts remain fully focused on assisting my clients with their existing bookings, cancellations, changes, refunds and vouchers for future travel.
This is unlikely to change anytime soon. Even tough there is presently a surge in airline and domestic travel, international travel has become extremely complicated and difficult to arrange, and will probably remain flat, until COVID is under control worldwide.
My best efforts to assist my clients these past eighteen months, have been frustrating and complicated.
Negotiating everchanging COVID, supplier, airline, cancellation, refund, and voucher policies, compounded by incorrect and conflicting information and decisions from travel supplier representatives, further complicated by continued long phone hold times, has made it incredibly challenging for me to even keep current!
I am still working from my home office.
I will continue to take care of my clients existing bookings, until you are all taken care of, or I retire.
My business hours are 10 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday.
