More clients than usual have traveled with their pets recently, so here is some useful information for future travelers with pets:
Plan traveling with your pets well in advance.
We can help with booking, restrictions, requirements and charges.
Not all airlines will transport pets.
Not all breeds of dogs are accepted.
Prices have increased.
Keep your pet carrier clean and fresh.
Acclimate your pets by transporting them on a series of shorter trips.
The smell of a pair of your socks in the carrier will help comfort your pets. Generally pets will travel in the aircraft hold area.
Your will need a health certificate from your veterinarian and have to comply with certain regulations before departure.
Have ID tags on your pets.
Pets can also be affected by jet lag.
Keep wipes and treats available.
Pets must be kept hydrated while traveling.
Feed your pets their usual food while away from home and don't change their routine more than necessary.
