SOME GREAT PACKING TIPS
We all over pack and don't use many of the clothes and items packed for a trip.
Pack everything you want to take, then unpack and lay out everything on a bed and remove anything you really won't need or use. What's left is what you actually pack and take. Pack as light as possible.
- Pack important items in your carry-on luggage like medications, toiletries, eyeglasses, travel documents, something to eat, computer and enough clothing to keep you going, should your luggage get lost.
- Use lightweight suit cases and the smallest case possible, to avoid being over weight.
- Leave enough space in your case, or pack a small bag to carry those must-have items you pick up on your travels.
- Pack to dress in layers and accommodate temperature changes.
- Roll, don't fold your clothes.
- Pack for the season at your destination.
- Pack coordinated outfits and colors you can wear in any combination and still look smart and fashionable.
- Shoes take up space so pack only a few pairs you know are comfortable for walking.
- Items forgotten can always be purchased.

TRAVEL QUOTE OF THE MONTH
"Travel isn't always pretty. It isn't always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that's okay. The journey changes you; it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind." - Anthony Bourdain. Remembering Anthony Bourdain - Parts Unknown.
