Dear Travel Friends
DUI CONVICTION AND ENTRY INTO CANADA
Be warned. a single DUI conviction could be enough for Canadian authorities to refuse a traveler entry into Canada.
The older a DUI conviction, the more likely the traveler may meet Canada's "rehabilitation requirements" and be allowed entry.
Canadian rehabilitation criteria includes: the crime committed must not be considered a serious crime.
But, as of Dec 2018, DWI is considered a serious crime in Canada and a traveler with a DUI conviction may be less likely to be admitted into the country.
Not a good start to a vacation and there is no exception for traveling direct;y from the airport to a cruise ship.
Only a year after a DUI conviction can a traveler apply for a rehabilitation ruling, a complicated process even with the assistance of a Canadian immigration lawyer. .

Your Passport Photo: Must comply with all Federal photo rules. Have a professional take your photos.

PROPOSED TSA PRE-CHECK ENROLLMENT CHANGES, FOR PERSONS IN POSITIONS OF PUBLIC TRUST
Recent Senate legislation proposes that the TSA create a process whereby persons in positions of public trust won't have to undergo a further background check for TSA Pre-Check enrollment.
Instead, the TSA would verify their active security clearances, expediting applications and increasing the TSA's capacity to screen non-eligible applicants and program participation.
Applicants would still have to pay applicable fees and follow all airport security procedures.
Thank you for choosing Travel Travel.
Gillian.
