Today, staterooms are classified into/in many categories. Choosing a stateroom on price alone is not a good idea!  If you don't like your stateroom, you probably won't enjoy your cruise!

Stateroom types are:

Inside: Sleeps 2-4 people, with no porthole or window.

Outside: Similar to an inside stateroom but with ocean views through a picture window or porthole, which cannot be opened.

Balcony or Veranda: Larger staterooms with glass doors accessing a private balcony with ocean views.

See full size imageSuites: Expanded balcony rooms with either a small sitting area or a separate bedroom.

Villas: Only available on select ships, numerous bedrooms and bathrooms, living and dining room, whirlpool, wet bar, steam room and even a butler.

When choosing a stateroom, keep in mind you'll need a place to nap, relax, a quite sanctuary, a place to watch a movie or have a quiet romantic dinner.

Staterooms vary from compact to grandiose, with price tags to match. What a difference a window or balcony can make if cruising stunning coastlines, well worth the cost. On longer cruises you spend more time in your stateroom than on shorter cruises. Each ships' staterooms are unique. How can you keep track of all the possibilities? Simple! Contact the professionals at Travel Travel. We have sailed on many cruise ships and will help you choose the right stateroom, cruise line, ship and itinerary.

See full size imageAIRLINE CONSUMER FEE UPDATE

Most airlines are charging consumers additional fees for anything from baggage to in flight food and drinks. One airline even tried to charge for use of the on-board restrooms! This didn't go over very well with passengers and this policy has now been rescinded by the airline. You could save yourself valuable vacation time and money by being smart. Travel with a carry-on suitcase if possible. Any suitcase, even a few pounds heavier than allowed, can really cost you. Make sure how much baggage and what weight is allowed before you leave home! Make and take your own meal with you on your flight. Take Granola bars or Trail Mix as snacks. For more information, go to our website at www.travelx2.com and click on "Airline Cons umer Fees Update".

Try wearing a comfortable pair of slip-on shoes. Easily slip your shoes off and on again after going though security. So much less stress, much more comfortable traveling and easier to remove and put your shoes on again when actually flying!
