STAYING HEALTHY ON THE ROAD

Bring written prescriptions for your medications

If your medications get lost, you'll often need to have a written prescription from your doctor in order to refill them overseas. Ask your doctor to provide you with a generic rather than a brand name; you might not be able to find specific brands overseas.

Consider travel protection.

Many people like to carry some sort of travel insurance in case they need to cancel their trip at the last minute, and to ensure against baggage loss or other unforeseen circumstance. We offer a comprehensive travel protection plan at affordable rates, for those who like that extra measure of protection for their travel investment.

Prepare for special needs.

Insulin dependent? Have food allergies? Let your Tour Director know. And each time you arrive in a foreign country have someone at the hotel write a not for you in the native language. For example, "I am allergic to peanuts" shown to the waiter before ordering can save you from eating something you're allergic to while dining at foreign restaurants.
